    Requirements

    • Call of Duty Black Ops III game files
    • Windows 10/11 Operating System (if using Wine on Linux you shouldn't need this guide)
    • Steam installed

    Instructions

    Installer

    1. Place in Call of Duty Black Ops III game directory and run as user

    Zip Archive

    1. Extract t7x.exe into your Call of Duty Black Ops III game directory
    2. Extract the contents of t7x.zip/localappdata into your %localappdata% (final directory tree should look like %LocalAppData%\t7x\*)
    3. Launch the game using t7x.exe

    Note

    • On Windows, you can access your LocalAppData folder using the path C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\ or by pressing Win + R, typing %LocalAppData%, then pressing Enter.
    • On Wine, your LocalAppData folder is located in $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/users/user/AppData/Local/

    The installer:

    • Installs the T7x Client
    • Installs the required client files and scripts
    • Installs the server configuration files
    • Gives you the option to a Desktop shortcut for the T7x Client
    • Creates uninstaller to remove all files

    Warning

    Running the uninstaller will remove ALL files, including savegames, player stats, loadouts, etc. If you wish to uninstall and play in the future, make a backup of the t7x/* folder located in your game directory

    Note

    • Run installer as Administrator if your game installation is in a protected folder (e.g. C:\Program Files)
    • You DO NOT need to disable your anti-virus to run the installer

    (The installer is fully Open Source, created using NSIS)

    Where can I get the game?

    1. You can get the game on Steam (preferred)
    2. If you can't afford the game. Oh well, you tried. You can get the game for free by torrent or magnet

    Tip

    Use a a free, open source and ad-free torrenting software such as qBittorrent and a VPN to avoid copyright letters from your ISP (i.e. https://iknowwhatyoudownload.com)
